Exclusion & Prevention

Seal the gaps. Stop the pattern.

Exclusion is the most under-sold service in Florida pest control. And the one that makes everything else last. While most companies will sell you a recurring spray plan in perpetuity, exclusion is a one-time investment that closes the door on the problem. Sealed entry points don't need monthly chemistry.

What Exclusion Actually Means

The work other companies are happy you skip.

Exclusion is the structural side of pest and wildlife control: identifying every gap, hole, vent, soffit break, and utility-line penetration that an animal or insect can use to get inside, and sealing them with materials they can't chew, dig, or push through.

It is the opposite of recurring service. A recurring spray plan benefits from the problem coming back. Exclusion benefits from the problem being solved permanently. That's why the larger, contract-driven companies in this market under-sell it. The economics don't favor permanence.

Paradise sells exclusion the way it should be sold: as the long-term fix that pairs with one-time wildlife removal or a once-a-year pest tune-up, not the band-aid that justifies the next monthly invoice.

Common Entry Points

Where Florida homes leak.

Two decades of subtropical heat, hurricane wind, and ground settling open predictable gaps in Florida construction. We check all of them.

  • Roofline gaps under barrel tile
  • Soffit and fascia separations
  • Gable vents & ridge vents
  • Plumbing and HVAC penetrations
  • Garage door corners and weatherstripping
  • Lanai screen tears and door sweeps
  • Foundation and slab cracks
  • Dryer vents & bathroom exhausts

How It Works

Inspect, scope, seal, document.

Exclusion is a craft job, not a spray job. Done properly, it's a one-and-done. Done quickly, it fails inside a year. The difference is in the inspection and the materials.

Inspect

Roof, soffit, attic, foundation, utility lines, lanai, garage. Photo every gap. Nothing hidden, nothing skipped.

Scope

Written estimate of every fix, broken out clearly. You decide what to seal now and what can wait. No bundle pressure.

Seal

Hardware cloth on vents and openings, pro-grade sealant on small gaps, mortar where structural, mesh and metal where animals chew.

Document

Before-and-after photos of every fix go to you. If we missed a spot or one fails, the photo record makes it easy to fix.

Why It Matters

The economics of doing it once.

Most homeowners we work with have already paid for the same problem twice. Once when an old company “handled it,” and again six to twelve months later when it came back. Exclusion changes the economics.

Without exclusion

You're renting peace.

Recurring spray and trap services keep pressure down but don't change the structural reason animals and insects keep getting in. The invoice is permanent because the problem is permanent.

With exclusion

You bought peace.

The entry points are closed. The biology that made the problem recurrent is interrupted. Recurring service becomes optional, not necessary. Quarterly maintenance becomes a tune-up, not a survival plan.

The combo

The sane sequence.

Wildlife removal + exclusion + one-time interior treatment is the cleanest reset for most homes. After that, quarterly pest control is enough, and it's truly optional.

Ready When You Are

Close the door on the problem — for good.

Done once, properly, with photo proof of every fix. The work that ends the recurring-service cycle.
